“A quiet place about a mile from Wimberly proper. If you like hiking, you can walk in to Wimberly although you will be walking along busy roads that are not designed for hikers along the side. Everything was clean and maintained. The blinds in the front room were not solid, so in the evening people could see inside. However, I don't think we saw any other people on the property. “We had a great time at this property. The hot tub was very relaxing. The weather really didnt cooperate(overcast and dreary, misting rain) but still had a great time. Cabin is rustic. Felt like we went back in time, but still had modern day appliances. Only thing to add would be if a washer/dryer was there. The cabin was clean. Nothing was broken. Everything worked as expected. Would go back again. ”

“We loved our stay in dripping springs. The town is adorable with fun shops and the great texas olive oil store. We enjoyed thunder and lightning at night, snug in the treehouse and beautiful days, with all the beautiful Texas wildflowers”

“This Wimberley cabin was a terrific spot to celebrate our anniversary! Everything was accurate in the listing and we had great communication with our host. The cabin is cozy and beautifully decorated. Only issue we had was spotty internet but that’s to be expected. Can’t wait to return!”

“The Ruby Cabin at Stoney Ridge surpassed all of our expectations. From the rustic decor, the fully stocked kitchen and grill, the hot tub and amazing views from the porch, our stay was spectacular! “Property was a perfect place for our long weekend over Valentines/Presidents Day weekend. Close enough to explore Austin (we even drove down to San Antonio one day although a bit further drive) but rural enough to have some privacy. Robin is a perfect host ensuring that everything was ready for our stay. Home is well equipped with any and all items needed. Was able to cook with proper tools and bed was comfortable. “It was very cozy and peaceful”

“When I arrived my code on the keypad did not work. I called the number, it was answered by the 2nd ring - they walked me through finding the lockbox as an alternative way to access the property. My 2 adult daughters joined me the 2nd night - it was perfect for all 3 of us to hang out and catch up after a soccer game. While the 100 additional fee seemed a bit excessive for the minimalist approach - I recommend!”

“My husband and I stayed here for his birthday weekend. The cabin is located just a short drive from town, and it is very quiet and peaceful here. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub under the stars in the evening. It is located behind the home, giving privacy from the road that runs right in front of the cabin (which has very little traffic).
