“It was a great spot. Quiet and peaceful. There is a short walk from parking to the site, but there’s a wagon to help haul stuff in and out. We heard frogs, owls, fox and coyote. Such beautiful sounds of nature. It rained A LOT during our stay and the tent did not leak at all. It stayed totally dry. The shower and outhouse were close enough that it wasn’t far during the night to go. The tent had cots (we used our blow up mattresses) they seemed comfy when we laid on them. The tent was a good……

“We booked last minute as we decided to stay a night in Saratoga on our way to upstate NY. Could not have had a better experience! From my initial interaction with the owner, who was extremely responsive, to the exceptionally kind and informed team we met the next morning - our experience was only diminished by our need to get back on the road. “We came looking for a camping spot for the solar eclipse. Our site was tucked away at the end of a huge field on a small peninsula with a running river nearby. The camping was amazing, the ground was nice and soft for our tents and we could build the campfire up with an endless supply of firewood. The stars were on full display as there wasnt much light pollution in this area. Taking a splash in the fast and cool river was a highlight. “My partner and I needed a place to camp for the total eclipse and came across Ryan's listing. Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. He's such a nice, accommodating host. Taking the time to show us the property and delivering firewood to our site. The land is gorgeous! Great stargazing and sunsets. We chose a spot next to the river to pitch our tent, and we were able to pull our car right up to the site and have easy access to all our gear. The privacy……
