“We only stayed one night and got in late, so couldn’t check out many amenities. However the time we spent was amazing! The staff was so helpful and friendly. The room smelled great and was perfect for what we needed. Was also super close to Mr. Rushmore, which was the purpose of our stop in SD. Only comment was the A/C was super loud in our room. Breakfast at the restaurant in the a.m. was delish! Will be back!”

“Everything was nice but the beds were too hard for us. If they change the beds it would be a 5 star from me. However, if you like really firm beds this is the place for you. Everything was clean and fresh. Ac worked very well! Would still recommend for families and couples. ”

“We had such a good time. And our two dogs had even more fun. We were all so relaxed. Really enjoyed sitting out in the Mount Rushmore viewing area with a glass of wine after a long drive. The food is really good and the staff is as nice as we’ve found anywhere. Jadz the night manager is great and we love the dude who runs the food area. All of them class acts. We don’t like camping but love UNder Canvas. The tents are awesome. ”

“It's way off the highway! No tv, radio or cell phone reception. GREAT!! They do have good fast WIFI. Onsite restaurant serves good meal variety at resonable prices. Interesting Carroll Shelby history.”

“Check in was easy. Clerk gave excellent instructions for the room, parking, area, etc. Room was roomy. The shower had hot water nearly immediately. Overall great stay”
