“This is the first place we checked in in our trip which includes 4 other hotels. We were surprised to see the place. It was spacious, clean, cozy with cabin cottage style. The place had all we need for a comfortable stay. It is close to the shopping/ dining area. Our room also had a beautiful view of the mountains. We regret not booking another night there. We would like to go back to this property in the future. ”

“Was very comfortable! I loved it. The place was immaculate. So quiet and private while we were there. Beautiful view of the woods out the window. There was every amenity one might want. They even had games that we played.Such a great central location to access Placerville and surrounding areas. The quaint little town has many antique and specialty stores along with many good restaurants. We went to the historic gold mine in town for a tour at Goldbug Park. “It was a great place to stay. Although, The pictures of lake front was misleading. We did not know where to go. It was definitely not located lake view as was described. Also did not know it was located in the actual lodge. Close to everything. Clean, well kept and very peaceful. Would consider coming back. Just need to choose better when looking for beach access/lake view.”
