“Little things would make a difference . I chose pay later , the full amount was taken with in days not months as exprected. 1 hand towel ! 2 people 3 days !! When requested it was supplied , shouldn’t have had to ask. 3 coffee sachets per day , 2 people ? Beautiful property Scottish castle style , above average accommodations, breakfast buffet. Great. Dinner menu. Burgers !!! Very disappointing . American tourists catered for . We therefore didn’t stay for dinner. 3 nights elsewhere . ……

“Very friendly rooms above pub slap bang in the main street. Pretty laid back and jiust came and went as we pleased. Cat and all the staff were very friendly and helpful to us. Bar was great for a few drinks and the town is great with friendly people everywhere. Big bonus was Vale of Leithen won :-)”

“Reception welcome was very good . Room was very good ,nice and comfortable. Restaurant for dinner was very pleasant. Breakfast was shocking ,we were seated, waiter wanted our hot drinks order and hot food order ( we had only sat down and haven't even seen the menu). We waited a long time for our hot order to be taken ,in fact 2 clients stopped the waitress to give there order .We went for fruit and cereal, while awaiting our hot order. Hot order came and our finished cold food plates were……

“I stayed for one night before a wedding nearby. I had a warm welcome and the room was lovely! Spotless and modern with a view over the street. Secondary glazing meant I heard nothing and slept for 9 hours! The bathroom was brand new by the looks of things too. The Eggs Benedict was lovely too. I’d definitely stay again when I’m back down this way. ”
