“Hotel location is good, the room is updated and clean. Make to order breakfast is included. Great Service. On site parking is limited, but there are plenty of off site parking in the back.”

“Very friendly rooms above pub slap bang in the main street. Pretty laid back and jiust came and went as we pleased. Cat and all the staff were very friendly and helpful to us. Bar was great for a few drinks and the town is great with friendly people everywhere. Big bonus was Vale of Leithen won :-)”

“Hotel was recommended to us and we were not disappointed possibly fortunate to have been offered a larger first floor room in a unique hotel. Once we figured out the bedside lamp switch (ask the staff) our time here went quickly. Location on main street on a warm town event filled weekend but external noise didn't interrupt good night sleep. Breakfast great with add ons and take outs catered for. “The hotel is in a stunning little village, very quite. The hotel was very well set up, good access, clean and great views. The Room was excellent, clean, and importantly very comfortable. The food was outstanding, and a cracking breakfast. ”

“There was no one at the desk. Self check in via the hotel email. Room was on 2nd floor up two flights of winding stairs not easy to maneuver with luggage. Limited food at the hotel. Did have free parking. Very old building not handicap accessible. Room was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom was very small couldn’t open the door all the way. Not recommended for older people or anyone who can’t do stairs.”
