“Foro Carolino is a very unique hotel. It's located in a building built in 1755. This is more like bed and breakfast as its family owned, and the apartment has belonged to one family for over 200 yrs. It's a very loved and very well taken care of hotel with friendly staff and great breakfast. Its conveniently located with walking distance to all attractions. Highly recommend .”
“This property is in a good area. The staff were very friendly. The only difficult thing we encountered was getting in the building and then knowing to go to the third floor.”
“Excellent location. Rooms clean and showers hot. Staff very helpful with general information and taxi arrangements. Naples is noisy though so bring earplugs to improve your chances of sleeping!”
“The initial arrival at the Palazzo Doria Napoli was a bit of a surprise as it is tucked away on the first floor of a building that doesn't look like a hotel. But once you get inside... WOW! I have been traveling in the US, Europe and Asia for 3 decades and this hotel was one of the most special and beautiful experiences I have had and that includes staying in a castle in Scotland and an imported house from Bali that used to belong to David Bowie on a private island in the Caribbean. Every room……
“An absolutely stunning property! The craftsmanship and attention to detail in the renovation are remarkable — every corner of the building feels special. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. We especially loved the rooftop terrace with its breathtaking view of the city and Mount Vesuvius — such a unique highlight! Despite having little ones (ages 3 and 5), we found it easy to walk into the city. Highly recommend this beautiful place!”
“We used this property as our first and last night in Italy. Worked well for our travel in and out of Naples. Anna was extremely accommodating and friendly. The property itself was in a great spot for getting on the train to Sorrento (Although we did have to take two different ones). Lots of cafes and shopping. ”
“Sergio and his daughter and the entire staff was immediately available online and in person to confirm every detail of my arrival and the required information for Napoli! Such a beautiful room (#5) complete with huge vaulted ceilings a sunny balcony with sound proofing + a great desk and cable TV and a Terrazza for dining and relaxing! I really loved every hour of my stay at Monteolivetto 33!”
“Un emplacement fantastique dans le centre historique de Naples. Il suffit de faire quelques mètres pour prendre le métro. Il n'y a pas de petit déjeûner sur place mais on peut déguster à moins de 20 m Café, cappuccino, viennoiseries et autres succulents gâteaux pour moins de 5€/personne.
De plus les propriétaires sont hyper sympa. C'est certain nous reviendrons à Chocolate's Home sans hésiter.”
“The property was hidden behind a quirky traditional door which opens in to a courtyard to gain access to the hotel.
Staff were friendly and on hand to assist with any help we required and also provided tips and information to make the most of our trip to to Naples.
The suite we stayed in had a split level sleeping arrangement which made the room spacious and the large window opened on to a Juliet balcony overlooking the busy street below.
This hotel ideally situated in Naples historic centre……
“This property is right at the opening tunnel to the old town area. The rooms are large and have a great view of the old Convitto Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele II.
The Staff also recommended the restaurant "Trattoria Enoteca Campagnola". What a great place. The service and price was excellent, and the Caprese Salad was the best in all of Italy.
The entrance is a bit off the main street, inside a large doorway to a small piazza. There is a small elevator or 4 flights of old world stairs up to the……
