“Kenji picked us up from near the ferry port on Miyajima island after messaging a few days before to arrange with clear instructions. On the way to his farm, we had a lovely chat about his life and career as a translator, our lives, and Miyajima. He let us stop off to look at a beautiful view of the sea from the road.
