“We loved our stay in this unique place. The staff was warm and welcoming and very accommodating and the surrounding area was gorgeous to wander. Given the age of the Inn, the facilities are excellent, although an upgrade in the bathroom, especially the shower, would be nice. Overall though, I highly recommend this wonderful, historic, and charming place!”

“What a treasure Rye has with The George. Extremely well located, about a 10 minute walk (albeit some uphill) from the station parking, a lovely old building that's in good condition. We went at low season so Rye was quiet (great for us, albeit some businesses were closed for staff vacations...not a problem), and very walkable. We enjoyed several small pubs which felt very cosy and welcoming in the cooler nights. Strongly recommended. ”

“First class guest house. The hosts, Karen & Malcolm, and their staff member were terrifically hospitable and convivial. My double room - designated G was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Every need seemed to have been catered for, including mini-bar / fridge / snacks etc. Tea / coffee etc. Dressing gowns if required and luxurious toiletries. “My boyfriend and I had an overnight stay at Little Dane Court a couple of weeks ago after a dining experience on The Kent and East Sussex Railway. This hotel is a converted grade 2 listed building with several rooms. We stayed in the Courtyard room which had brilliant underfloor heating (in fact it was a little too hot during the evening), lots of cute oriental artefacts and a large amount of space. The kimono style robes and slippers are a lovely editions, as well as the little chocolate eggs……
