“Excellent hotel in a perfect location for our visit. We stayed on the 3rd floor at the front of the hotel. Comfortable room. Some noise from passing inebriants, but nothing to keep us awake and to be expected in such a busy area. Fantastic restaurants close by and the Assembly hall just a short walk. Would definitely recommend.”

“The service was fantastic and the breakfast was fabulous the next morning. The decor is dated. I dont like the bath shower set up. The chairs and curtains and carpets are all dark and old. Maybe have some music playing quietly at the bar. The single bed was not comfortable. My 1 case weighs 30 kg, no lift, steps everywhere you go, this is not practical for someone with luggage. The receptionist did ask a guest to take my heavy suitcase up the 3 flights of steps for me. The staff are lovely and……

“I was at the lower floor room right under the corridor, other hotel guests walking were very noisy. Other than this, the stay was brilliant”

“Very comfortable log cabin, excellent supplies of both toiletries and breakfast goods. perfectly clean, good hot shower, set for right temperature, hurrah! Only problem was lack of WiFi. Although password given, there was no wifi to log in to.”

“Location is fine if you would like to visit Tonbridge School. Very convenient, less than 10 minutes walk from Tonbridge station. But the bed is too soft. ”

“The staff at the hotel were great and I enjoyed the stay. However the rooms and facilities are rather tired and in need of some refurbishment. Made a great weekend away to be close to a race start the next day, but not somewhere for a luxury break. ”
