“They were finishing up cleaning when i showed up. The previous renter stayed late. The cabin was very clean with everythingI needed in the kitchen. shampoo, conditioner and body wash in shower. Bed was comfortable. I enjoyed an inside fire on a nice fall day. Hot tub was just what i needed after a day of hiking with the pups. Close to NRG and other hiking trails. I needed help with the door code, but had a quick resolution. I would definitelystay here again if I find myself in the area. ”

“The cabin had a classic “ cabin in the woods “ feel. The interior was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The hot tub was appreciated.The location was perfect for our New River Gorge experience. The host was welcoming and informative. It was a wonderful experience!”

“Rocky Top Retreat is our go-to in Fayetteville! Always clean, well-stocked, and hosted with care. The location is perfect—just minutes from Adventures on the Gorge, downtown, Freefolk Brewery, climbing, and hiking trails right off the driveway. Whether you’re out adventuring or just soaking in the hot tub with mountain views, this cabin is the best spot in town. ”

“Very nice, cozy cabin for 2 people. The size accomodated us well overall but the small beds did not make sleeping in the same bed the most comfortable.Cabin has everything needed and advertised. The fireplace, peaceful front porch and hot tub were all favorites of ours.Location can be a bit tricky the first day you arrive especially if at night because the cabins are located up on a hill behind a small body shop on street level. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this cabin. ”
