“Wonderful location near the water. Room was a lot smaller than it looked in pictures. For a beach stay, it is great but we were getting ready to go to a formal wedding. We did not know that the bathroom would be across the hall with a key code on it. And the only sink was in our room. We still had a nice and pleasant stay. ”

“Great communication with the hosts. Room on the 1st floor was just right for 2 people. We were there for a week so having a mini fridge was helpful. The little lounge at the entrance had a coffeemaker, microwave and water/ice dispenser, which we and many guests used. Bathroom was small but not a big deal. Lots of parking outside the house. Overall a great stay - we will definitely be back.”

“Location was perfect in proximity to what we came for in the area (beach, boardwalk, asbury park). The check in couldn’t have been any easier. Here are some critiques. The view from our room was nothing special. The online photos made the room seem like it was bigger and in better condition than it was in actuality. The bed had a slanted feeling to it. “A perfect spot for a romantic getaway! One block from the beach, walking distance to great spots in Asbury, perfect location for long walks on the boardwalk. The B&B was clean, offered great wifi, clean towels, coffee and a microwave, easy check in, and the host was prompt in their responses to inquiries. We had such a great time we asked to extend our stay and they were more than gracious to accommodate. Thank you Melrose! Well be back!”

“Overall you cant beat the location and the check in process was very easy with lots of active communication. But after we left I went back into the listing and noticed it is a bit misleading.....The photos are pretty outdated, the place is nice buts its worn. “We were fortunate to stay at the St. Laurent for one night only but experienced there wonderful luncheon and their restaurant heirloom. The rooms were well equipped very clean, comfortable mattresses copious shower met all of our needs. Finding a parking spot was a little challenging, but we managed.”
