“We arrived late but David the owner was lovely and very welcoming. We were showed to our room and it was perfect for what we needed. The breakfast was really tasty ”
“Lovely location. Good parking for car. Big house near farms. Host welcoming. The breakfast was good and room very comfortable. The only downside was the smell of damp dog that permeated throughout the house. We kept the bedroom windows opened all the time. ”
“We are local and only stayed as having work done on the house, so have eaten there many times. Pleasantly surprised how nice and well maintained the room was and very clean. Great atmosphere in the bar, and will recommend to our visitors and the staff were really lovely. ”

“Overall good stay
Checkin is 3-6pm which I didn’t realise during booking. Had to phone and wait to get let in as it’s all locked up. Can arrange a late checkin prior which I’ll do in future.
The front rooms are within hearing of the village clock but didn’t give much issue.
Rooms were good, plently if hot water and nice cooked breakfast from the friendly host Tim. ”
“We stayed as joining friends for 60th Birthday and couldn’t fault anything, everyone was friendly, helpful and I’m sure if anything had happened during our stay it would have been sorted. Would return to hotel and recommend to friends & family. Oh and one of the best Breakfasts I’ve had Perfect.”
