“Overall, it was pretty good. The front desk service was excellent, and the location is in the city center. Although I occasionally heard drunken pedestrians making noise at night, I stayed on the 13th floor, so it was within an acceptable range. “This is my second time staying at the lodge. We truly enjoyed our stay. It was great to only be a few miles out of Boulder and surrounded by such beauty. The drive through the canyon is breathtaking. You arrive at the lodge and it is like stepping back in time to simpler times. The sound of the creak and the smell of campfire. “The room was clean, and the hotel relatively quiet. We were traveling with a dog, so it was to find a pet friendly hotel. We were disappointed there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. The kitchenette in the room was nice even though we had a quick stay and did not use if. It would’ve been nice to have some type of bakery items available for breakfast instead of just coffee. It would also be nice to have the option of tea instead of just coffee in the morning. We would definitely stay……
