“Colleen was super nice and helpful during our whole stay! When we’re first pulled in there are so many lovely animals, including a very friendly dog.I was here for a race and was able to have my family come stay as well. We got to say hi to the horses and jog around in the nearby roads for a short period. Great location, great place, and gracious host. I would come back next year if it works out! Thank you”

“John’s place was beyond what we could have imagined. when we first arrived, there were deer lounging in the backyard. The house itself was very cozy with plenty of space to spread out when needed. The fireplace and windows are spectacular! I wish we had more time to be physically hanging out in the house, but for the short time we were able to be there, it was a very relaxing retreat.”

“This cabin is great. It’s a very short drive to downtown Nevada city, maybe 10 min. It’s super cozy and the hot tub is fantastic. Very quiet and private. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace. There’s plenty of towels and extra sheets if needed. Yes, there’s bad cell service and the WiFi isn’t great but they definitely let you know that ahead of time. We were more than fine with that. The owner communication is great. I highly recommend!”

More than enough bedrooms and the very top floor room with the views was a gorgeous place for the bride to get ready with her bridesmaids. The young kids with us are begging to come back and stay. “The room itself is good, there are many amenities including a Keurig, a small refrigerator, and a microwave. Some of the windows don't work well but the sound of the creek rushing by is soothing. We loved sitting out by the creek and the fire. We had a bbq there too. Our host helped me recover my lost item and I really appreciated that. Check in was easy and the walk into town was really close to town. ”
