“We loved our stay at Bruce and Claudia’s little hideaway! It was a great place to stay with our dogs during a trip to the Placerville area. It’s close enough to downtown, but far enough away to experience the peace and quiet of the river! Everything was as described, you have your own space and privacy, but they are close by if you ever need anything. We will definitely come back and stay again!”

“We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. So much nicer than staying in a hotel, and a quick drive to stores and restaurants and to visit family. It was really clean, inviting, and the decor was nice. All the comforts of home, quiet, and tucked away in a beautiful area. “We had a great stay at the Hummingbird House! It was peaceful, quiet and a great place to unplug. There was convenient laundry on site and Tal and Audra were communicative and very kind and helpful. They even dropped off sweets for New Year’s Eve after asking if we had any dietary restrictions, which we do. Although the home feels secluded there is a grocery store as well as Petco only 15 minutes away. Downtown Grass Valley and Nevada City are fun to explore and also nearby! There is another……

“13 of us very comfortable stayed here as a landing for a nearby wedding. More than enough bedrooms and the very top floor room with the views was a gorgeous place for the bride to get ready with her bridesmaids. The young kids with us are begging to come back and stay. “The room itself is good, there are many amenities including a Keurig, a small refrigerator, and a microwave. Some of the windows don't work well but the sound of the creek rushing by is soothing. We loved sitting out by the creek and the fire. We had a bbq there too. Our host helped me recover my lost item and I really appreciated that. Check in was easy and the walk into town was really close to town. ”
