“Every thing was great except being an old property there was no elevator and there is no mention of it in the listing. I have arthritis and carrying my suitcase upstairs was not what I was planning on. ”

“ It seems that the staff are not used to greet guests good morning and the like. Also ,the restaurant is under renovation until end March, so reduced breakfast has to be served inside room. The environment outside the hotel is good,though, with many restaurants nearby.”

“離市中心一般，回酒店時要經過一條很斜很斜的路（Steep Hill），沒有自駕車極不便。 雖然有升降機到達3樓，但經濟房間那邊，仍然要經過約5至6級梯級，要搬運較重的行李箱極不便。 服務員，態度好。剛入住時，天氣非常熱，詢問要把風扇，第2天才有，已是幸運。”

“Stayed here for three nights at the beginning of April. The room was warm, comfortable and spacious. There was plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate available, as well as the usual kettle, and a fridge with real milk (as well as those plastic uht ones). The continental breakfast was available in the room and topped up daily, but with the added bonus of having a large kitchen available with toaster, kettle, microwave, oven and hob to cook and a large table to eat at. “This Hotel is a an absolute treasure that combines relaxing comfort with professionalism. We received a warm welcome at reception, the rooms were stylishly decorated but homely and the overall layout of the guest areas made for an experience that was simultaneously classy but intimate. We had breakfast and dinner on both of the days of our stay and were impressed by the breadth and flexibility of the menus available and the high quality of the food and wine menu. All in all an excellent stay ”
