“To be honest, the reception was great, the room generally clean and tidy, although the sheet on the double bed didn't fit and only just covered the top of the mattress. We had dinner in the bistro, as we had a dog with us. He was welcome to stay with us, but we could only eat in the bar area. This was fine as on a Friday evening there was hardly anyone in the bar area. The food was fantastic and there was plenty of it.”

“The Red House is a delightful old, large three story town house in a more up-market part of Grantham, if there is such a thing. Large room with high ceilings and original features - not to everyone's taste but perfect for me. Very quiet and peaceful but easy walk to the town center. As a renovated old building the facilities are, naturally, not like a modern hotel. but everything worked fine and the host was charming. “Outstanding! One of the best equipped places I’ve stayed in. Located right in the centre with easy access to restaurants and shops. It’s a few minutes walk from Tesco and car parks are a few minutes walk away. House has no parking but it’s free between 6pm to 8pm and the first hour is free between those hours. House is lovely and over three stories and I will definitely use it again. ”
