“Colonial houses are an opportunity to stay right in the midst of historic Williamsburg . The location could not be any more convenient. We stayed at Brick House Tavern on the second floor. The bed was comfortable and the room nicely decorated. However the rooms were last updated about 30-40 years ago estimating by the fixtures, etc. The rooms rates are reasonable based on location but are not reasonable based on the out of date locks (old fashioned brass keys) , bathroom plumbing and scarcity……

“Antique furniture in all rooms were beautiful- palm tree & water fountain out my window were beautiful. Employees with whom I had interaction were very knowledgeable & helpful!! Fantastic place- I would definitely stay there again!!!”

We did have an issue where the front desk put us in the wrong room, but when I reached out to Ash she responded immediately and was very helpful in making the situation right. Given Ash's professionalism and helpfulness, I would definitely book with her again.”
