“All was really good - excellent breakfast !! Windows open for oxygen ! The only odd thing is their new energy saving AC system which makes it hard to set temperature and an ongoing fan. Without the fan, there was a lot of traffic noise. ”

“We had a great time at the Silk Pincushion. It was an easy walk and easy drive to hike to the mesa or get to dinner downtown. What stood out is the breakfast and the company. They hosted and treated us to a great breakfast and the people were so friendly and easy and enjoyable to get to know. We were interested in Golden's history and the home and they were fun and impressive historians :)”

“Young man in wheelchair checked us in and helped us another time after losing my sunglasses. We had to checkout a day early due to illness and the gal at the front desk told us she went ahead and refunded us a night. Everyone was so helpful. Downside: walls are very bery very thin.”

“The most adorable, well decorated, bed and breakfast in the area! The hot tub and back deck are a dream, rooms and common areas were immaculate. Will be back again so we can enjoy the summer activities near the house! ”

“All the staff were very friendly, it is a very quiet and comfortable place to relax, it is private and intimate and has a wonderful view of the mountains.”

“This is an older Hampton, but clean and cared for. The only problem with the room was that the phone didn't work and there was no obvious connection for it. We did have to ask a couple of times for room servicing as the workers either didn't understand English or didn't understand their job duties or both. This should be fixed hopefully by next stay. The Front desk workers were pleasant, very good and helpful. The breakfast was nice and included a variety of hot and cold items. Scrambled……
