“We went for our honeymoon as it was where I proposed, the staff were lovely, food was amazing as always.
Thankfully it was sunny all but one of the days but when it rained there was cosy areas to sit inside.”
“Very good hotel in the centre of Dunster so didn’t need to move the car for the whole weekend. We were able to park our car in the hotel’s car park at back of property. Breakfast was very good - freshly cooked, The owners were very friendly & helpful”
“Beds were very comfy and the food was good. I had an omelette which was delicious with cheese, bacon and mushroom served with an english muffin. Lots of cereal to choose from and croissants. ”
“Nice country pub room was clean and comfortable with ensuite.
Staff are great and the pub has a nice relaxed feel with a bar area used by the locals (Friendly) with everything you want from a country pub.
Restaurant area separate from the pub with a good varied menu.the food I had was great and good value for money.
I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.”
“Bright friendly welcome with tea and biscuits. The gardens are extensive and lots to interest. The house feels like a medieval manor although is C19 Tudor revival. The bedroom had everything needed and mercifully no television, was clean and welcoming. Al in all a lovely stay with a lovely host.”
“Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay.”
“The family rooms more like an apartment were excellent. Everything you needed in the room including dvds for the kids. The host was brilliant and locals in the bar were welcoming. The location and setting lovely. Would recommend to stopping here”
