“An excellent location for a walking weekend. Check in from 3.30 only but there’s lovely walks from the village to keep you busy. Check in was good with a friendly welcome. The room was comfortable and clean. You cloud hear the owl in the woods at night it was such a peaceful location. The car park is right behind the hotel and even though it is a pay and dispay car park, the convenience of its location is well worth the six pounds for a full day charge. She checked me in, instructed me where to park my car, advised where to get dinner because they didn't provide evening meals, served my drink in the bar, laid my table for my brought in take away dinner and then cleared up and still managed to do some cleaning.
