“This was an unscheduled stop on route to Cornwall due to bad weather. What a pleasant surprise, a beautiful old Inn a short distance from the A30. The staff were friendly and helpful, great service a lovely evening meal and an excellent breakfast. We will definitely be returning with hopefully better weather.”

I am sorry to say if there is one thing we don't like is the fact that the rooms are dog friendly, and we are not dog lovers. I don't know if all rooms are dog friendly but if they are it might be a problem for future stays as my wife can break out in a rash.”

“Really nice room in a lovely coaching inn. Quality bedding , towels etc. comfy bed. Booked & prepaid thru Hotels.com and when we arrived we were a little taken aback to be charged an extra £20 for our little dog. It would have been nice to have known about this extra fee beforehand as it came as a bit of a shock , I didn’t get any reply from accommodation following my messaging them & also leaving a telephone message to say we’re bringing our dog. Other than that , a good stay. ”
