“Tucked away, this farmhouse is just superb! Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfy and the shower was the most powerful I’ve ever enjoyed! Kirsty and Neil are good hosts, ready to offer recommendations if asked, but will leave you to yourselves if you prefer. They keep pigs and chickens, which we were lucky enough to feed, and I can report that the sausages, bacon & eggs at breakfast were very tasty! Added bonus of homemade cakes left out, delicious! “An overnight stay in room 2 which is directly above the bar and alongside the road however we still slept really well. The room was spacious and had a jacuzzi bath✅. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was too. We had our evening meal there and the food was terrific. There is also a very pretty garden for some afternoon beers. We will definitely be going back. ”

The hotel is popular with the older generation, but was in a great location for us and the staff were excellent. Our only criticism was the lack of feather pillows and the hairdryer sounded like it was on its last legs!”
