“We stayed for the Memorial day weekend. The cottage was just at the pictures showed. Super cute and nestled behind another house but you wouldn’t know. It was too hot outside to check out the spa but definitely would’ve it the weather was cooler! ”

“Nice little house, great location and very peaceful. We were here 4 nights 5 days so we had several clothes, there was not a place to hang them or a place to put them in. The furniture in the den is limited to one antique couch, which is pretty but not functional for relaxing and watching TV. The front and back porch are awesome for sitting on and watching the deer however the mosquitoes were horrible so bring off or somtheing to repel them. All these are minor things. We would definitely stay……

We visited the Empty Cross and had a great time watching the birds and taking in the natural beauty. The location is perfect—close enough to Fredericksburg for a day trip. The breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was perfectly brewed. We’ll definitely be coming back. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming.”
