“We had a fantastic Easter weekend at the farmhouse. The entire home was thoughtfully appointed with amenities we didn't even know we needed! We spent the majority of our time on the patio watching the kids play in the yard. The bikes and helmets were a huge hit with the kids! It was easily one of the most serene places we have visited. ”

“It was very peaceful and relaxing. At night we watched a good movie with the fire and wine. Our morning was coffee on the front porch swing. It was close to the wineries and places we liked to go. And a quiet place”

“Everything was great other than a couple of things. Ceiling fan made periodic noise in master bedroom. While trying to keep the first floor warm the second floor got too warm. Dual zones would help. My sister and brother in law said the bed they slept in sagged in the middle. Everything else was excellent.”

“It was a great experience overall. The kids loved that it was a working ranch and there were animals all round the place. Had everything we needed. I do wish there had been some curtain on the windows, though!”

“The house was big with lots of beds and open kitchen for family time. The donkeys and sheep were fun to feed for the kids. The pool was nice and clean with lots of sun for tanning. Close to downtown Fredericksburg and only 10 minute drive.Thank You for a great 2 nights. We enjoyed it”

“The home is older, if you’re into modern and luxury this is not the place for you.We were in town for the rally, the location was perfect! The house had everything we needed. The pool was a plus! The yard is large with plenty of parking.It rained the day we arrived so it was a little muddy, but died quickly as the sun came out.Overall it’s a decent place.”

“We were thrilled with our stay at the Farmhouse (located behind Das Peach Haus). It is an oasis with real farmhouse sounds on or adjacent to the property. Chickens (and roosters) in a coop and wildlife (blue heron, muskrats, frogs) near the pond every day. Even Percy the Peacock visited us regularly on the back porch! Vintage farmhouse layout, but each bedroom had its own bathroom. Less than 2 mile walk to Main St (but driving is advised), yet you feel you are in the country. We'll stay……

Cons: never received instructions on check in, reading septic system, dog food kept under kitchen cabinet (we had no pets), dog/ cat hair on couch and bunk bed, difficult to put out Murphy bed and need more kitchen towels (only had 2) and toilet I. Master bath clogged and no plunger,”
