“The home has a nice downstairs with a rec room, TV and large couch. Perfect for the little ones to play. Two private bedrooms share a bathroom as well.Upstairs are two more bedrooms, two bathrooms, and kitchen/living room, and large dining room. Plenty of space to spread out, and beautiful deck to eat on.. The home was clean, organized and comfortable for all ages. We spent five nights here, and loved the close playground/park with the little ones, and the Rec Center was walking distance. Very……

“My husband and I stayed for a short getaway. House is well stocked, very clean, and everything was as described. House is in a great location - we were close to town but also in nature. Thank you! ”

“Charming house will all we needed. Easy parking. Safeway across the road. Next to a busy road but surprisingly quiet. If you are a light sleeper take the upstairs room as the house is creaky but it’s part of the charm. Felt like insta-hot water. Easy check out protocol. Two blocks from downtown Golden and Mines. We found it a great home base. ”

“We were in town for a college track meet. The house was great for the 8 of us, plenty of room for everyone. The location was great to get back and forth to the track meet. Kitchen is missing a couple of key items that most cooks use regularly.”

“I was eager to write this review as we really enjoyed staying at this BNB. It was well appointed with a well designed interior. We loved having carpet! And it was in beautiful shape. I would say the only comment for our stay was we could have used a little more stocked toilet tissue and had to purchase that. The pillows in the master bedroom could probably be replaced. Otherwise a top-notch property that we have already recommended to friends. ”

“Lovely historic home, very comfortable stay for many adults. Perfect location for many day trips to Downtown Denver, beautiful scenic drives, Garden of the Gods, Red Rocks Amphitheatr, Rocky MTN NP, Dinosaur Ridge, Gold mine tours, the list goes on and on! Amphitheatr,DinosauRidge”

“The property was just far off the busy interstates to be quiet and feel secluded, but it was close enough for us to jump on a big highway and explore the beautiful state of Colorado. I do wish the garage was usable for a big vehicle. Parking was not terrible on the street but I felt that should have been public knowledge before showing up and pulling in. Only medium or small cars fit.”

“This is a beautiful mountain home that is extremely comfortable and accommodates all of your needs. The bed was comfortable, extremely clean, very quiet. Great hot tub on the deck. Also has a single car garage which is perfect when it is snowing. This is a go to place. We even had deer quests outside of the big picture windows on a couple mornings.”
