“We wanted to find some snow to play in, and saw storms hitting in the area. We booked last minute and figured we were taking our chances, but ended up with an amazing find! The cabin was warm, cozy, and easy to get to. (And bonus—at least that weekend, we were right on the edge of the snow band, so we were able to go play in snow nearby but didn’t get stuck or have any issues at the cabin.) Everything was comfortable and well maintained. The kitchen was well supplied and there was info on local……

“My cousins and I very much enjoyed our 2nd stay at the Matteson’s rental cabin. It’s the perfect home base for a trip to Old Forge. It has everything you need - comfy beds, a nice bathroom with shower, kitchen with fridge, microwave, and regular coffee maker, and a fire pit. We were grateful for the air conditioning too. Bridget is a kind and responsive host. We hope to come back ASAP! :)”

“The place was so tidy and clean, plenty of amenities, toiletries, dishes, cooking utensils, etc. that made staying soooo comfy! Thank you. The beds were comfortable, the decor was sweet and cheerful. We would have preferred to be in the water, but Brantingham books up soooo fast. So this was the best alternative and so close to our family’s place on the lake, right down the road. Peter is an excellent communicator and was helpful and attentive when needed. Be aware that this is a very busy……
