“The hotel restaurant is good the food there is tasteful The room is clean and tidy the swimming pool is good”

“The hotel grounds were lovely. The “deluxe suite” we’d booked had some worrisome issues. If you’re a guest anywhere near 6’ tall you run the risk of cracking your head (and drawing blood) on the sharp wooden beams like my spouse did. The towel rack in the bathroom (that also had a low wooden ceiling beam) was scalding hot with no shut off lever. Our safety concerns were relayed to the staff and although they said they’d investigate it didn’t seem like much of a surprise. The breakfast though……

“The Bull Hotel proved to be a great choice for a quick stopover in Peterborough (7 minute walk from the train station). It’s an older hotel but has lots of charm. I’d recommend it for a short stay. A surprisingly good price was an extra bonus ! ”

“It was all wonderful right from the check-in, the staff are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a well lit and very tastefully decorated and sizeable room, with comfortable beds, two small armchairs and a coffee table. The bathroom was well appointed with a bath and a large shower head. There were some nice extra touches as well, a small bottle of milk on arrival and later in the stay, plus bottled water, plenty of teabags etc. The food at breakfast was very nice too. The……

“The property is good in general, a good place for chilling and relaxing. However, the lady in the reception’s attitude is bad to me. She arranged the room to me which is too far away which poor (almost nothing) WiFi access, and she said I have to find the router by myself and reset it (which I don’t think it’s my responsibility to do so). Also the room has no laundry bag and she insisted there is one in the cabinet. One of the lamp was not workable in the room too. Eventually I insisted I do not……
