“First stay at Golden Sands in April and it won't be the the last! Really comfortable, relaxing and fun themed atmosphere to it. It's also well managed and cleainess was exactly how it appears in the reviews and photos. A lot of times oceanfront hotels, even those higher in price, can rest on their laurels by having the views and location to make up for quality rooms and even other amenities. But Golden Sands really delivers all the way around. The tiki bar had great food and drinks also! ”

“Great location, friendly staff, quiet location, elegant lodge, quaint and spacious rooms. Made for a great getaway to Wilmington for the weekend! Will defintaley return! ”

“Friendly staff There was two men who were coming in to the lobby who did not look like they belong. They came in and took the cookies at the front desk and hung out in the drop off area. They tried to stop me and asked if I liked the place. Scared me a little.”

“The Starlight Inn is a nostalgic motel that is a quick, easy walk to the beach. It has off street parking up front, and easy access to dining and basic shopping, all within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay.”

“Love seeing these old places getting remodeled. This place is super cute. Beds are comfy and water pressure is great. The only issue we had was parking. Each room should have a numbered parking spot. The 1 vehicle rule should be enforced. There were several families with 2 or more vehicles. ”

“Really nice property. The the room was awesome. The only criticism I have is next door there's a bar that was really, really loud. So if you're trying to get some rest, then that could be a problem.”

“Had a bumpy start with reservation. Had not received credit for my deposit. In time they handled it and we had a very nice weekend.”

“Hotel is right on the boardwalk so you can walk to restaurants, rides and bars! Beach, too. Staff is wonderful. Room could use a little updating, but, who's spending any time there with everything there is to do! We are looking forward to going again.”
