“Read many reviews prior, and they were largely accurate. very clean, very tidy, lovely grounds. only qualms were a wonky toilet and building noises (ie pipes, rattling stairs) that are part and parcel of an older building. All in all, wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again in a pinch.”

“We absolutely loved the entire stay. We enjoyed the dining, bowling, arcade and for me, the laser tag (because I won both games, too!). Staff were helpful and friendly in all areas of the property. We didn't need to go far to experience wonderful, like at Nolaa's and the elementary school that was used in the film of A Christmas Story was not far away. We enjoyed an little Indian restaurant not far away. We also visited the Maple Farm and bought some real Canadian Maple Syrup to bring back……

“The customer service staff at check very efficient and supportive. The hotel location is great with easy access to the highway and eating joints. It has ample parking space available along with electric charging stations installed. The hotel rooms are big, modern and clean. The morning breakfast has couple of options to choose from. ”

“The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Shower curtain had holes in it, the shower tap was the wrong way (turn towards cold for hot water), TV channels didn't really work (no signal). It was perfectly fine. Good for a one night stay, but nothing special. Could easily be improved with some small upgrades. ”
