The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel like honored guests in a private home. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the stately double parlor with wine and cheese, and the breakfast was both delicious and thoughtfully presented.

“We stay there for two nights, the WiFi wasn’t working which was pain,toilet cistern was leaking water at the first night, we have to turn off the tap on the wall, it was repaired the next day. Our room was facing the street, it was annoying whenever cars passing by at the night, apart from that the hotel services was good, the girls at reception were kind and helpful , the location of the hotel is quite central ”
“I stayed at the Mayflower during a conference because SF was sold out. I travel a lot for business and stay at marriotts. The online reviews prepared me well - this is an old building with a single person at the desk, old elevator, and very basic amenities. If you are good with that (and I love old buildings and don’t rely on hotels toiletries) then this is a comfortable stay - and I’m glad I took the chance to be near Moscone. Everything was exactly as described - and the person at the front……
