“We were given very little information when we checked in. We were not told that a restaurant was available for dinner so we were too late to make a reservation that night. They advertise on the beach, but the beach is sand only, no water access. Just rocks like the coast of Maine. There is a definite lack of help in the restaurant in the morning. One guy running around trying to do everything. He was very pleasant. The whole resort needs a little TLC. If you want anything you must go to the……

“Great property with great location for those looking for a lower key vacation. We walked right onto beach. The pool and hot tub were in great shape. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for an escape for a few days. ”

“This hotel was very comfortable and clean, my one complaint is that it was overpriced for what it was, and on top of that I had to pay extra each day for parking, even though it was a very large lot and not at all near shops or other walkable amenities. ”

“This small property has clean, well-maintained rooms in a beautiful spot in marathon. We appreciated ease of using kayaks and paddleboards. We decided to stay 2 nights. Staff was very accommodating. We had to switch rooms, and they prioritized cleaning our new room so we could easily move from one to another. Love the 60's feel of the architecture and the privacy. ”

“Nice overnight stay on way into Key West. Clean, good communication, bonus to have full size frig with freezer. Had all the necessities - hot shower, beds fine. We did not encounter bugs or mold, dust like other reviews. It is an old fifty style motel, and can’t expect more at this price point. The Keys are expensive. Owner/manager is from MI, so please support this business with kind words and recommendations. Midwesterners unite! She was very nice. ”

“We had a wonderful stay! Our aqua lodge was cute, comfy and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the kayaks and bikes. We would definitely return!”

“Super fun lodging option for our quick trip to the keys. It was well appointed, literally around the corner from the grocery store, and (obviously) right on the water. We took advantage of the bikes on site for a 2 mile ride to the beach, and I went paddleboarding on the water and saw tons of animals (but never the manatee that every other guest seemed to encounter...). It was a delight to have breakfast on the deck and although I don't anticipate another trip to FL, if I did, I would love to……
