“I have rarely used exceptional to review a hotel but the Kames was. We travelled here from New Zealand on holiday and we only had one night but it was exceptional. The restaurant menu is top class, the range on the menu was great and seriously 10/10. I had locally free dived seared scallops from the loch, I had the slow roasted goat shank with lentils - exceptional, and we shared a lemon tart with fresh berries. “Beautiful B&B, with comfy bed, excellent pillows, absolutely excellent breakfast and lovely hosting. The whole place is immaculate. We stayed for our first night on the Isle before heading off on the coastal way. It's a short walk from the ferry terminal and has a lovely view over the water. It was the perfect way to spend our first night and rest up / get fuelled up! ”
