“It’s a nice place, above average. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, but the bed was old and not very comfortable. The “bistro” in the lobby was disappointing, running out of some items and not very good. We did find a little deli in an office building across the street (Mike and Barry’s Deli) that was very good. Otherwise, any restaurants are about a mile away. ”

“We were given a room adjoining another room that was occupied. This other group was so loud all night. A party was had and they left trash at the elevators. This isn’t the hotels fault, but I felt they should have stepped in. Because they did not, my stay was not nearly as enjoyable as it could have been. ”

“First, Christina and Emilio are excellent hosts. So nice! And there are lots of little touches that make staying nicer. Such as bandaids in the bathroom when I cut my arm and k-cups for morning coffee. Great communication and very friendly. The neighborhood is great and I felt completely safe. We had a friend come pick us up for dinner and he was so impressed with the neighborhood we chose, having lived in DC for a bit and knowing the area. Thank You, Jesus, for that - we had no idea where to……

“We were in town to support a family member having surgery at Walter Reed. Price per night with a kitchen is beyond reasonable considering the money saved being able to cook your own meals. Only downfall of our unit was the sofa, it was extremely uncomfortable.”
