“This cabin was easy to find, with off-street parking, and near the beautiful downtown area. I travelled with individuals with disabilities and found the spacious layout very accommodating to our needs. The bathrooms, common room, kitchen, and bedrooms gave it the cabin vibe, were comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. The host was available for any feedback and I would highly recommend this location for families or friends looking to stay in Frederick. ”

“The condo was very good for the price and convenience. I think it definitely needs a little TLC with the furnishing and details. The communication for check-in was pretty poor and it took calling VRBO support to get our checkin instructions within 45 minutes of arrival after my messages were ignored for 2 days leading up to arrival. ”

“Great location in downtown Frederick. Cozy and comfortable accommodation with great historic vibes and modern amenities. We would definitely stay here again. ”

“Unfortunately we happened to stay when there was a wind storm in the county so we lost power, water and heat for the night. We texted the host to check on candles and/or flashlights but were told to “just use our phones”. (Not really an option when you’ve been traveling all day and phones are almost dead). The cottage is very rustic and not quite as comfortable as the pictures make it out to be. The bed is extremely firm so be aware if you have bad hips or back. There’s also glade plug ins in……

“We were pleased with our stay. The house is nicely laid out -- efficient and compact. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were nice touches throughout such as upscale towels. The location was perfect for exploring downtown Kensington. We wanted to flag 2 items. First, we could hear the downstairs neighbors speaking loudly starting around 6:30 am. Not a big problem, but a little annoying. Second, the stsirs to the upper level are narrow and a bit uneven.We ”

“It is a stunning house and absolutely does not look like a rental at all! The owner has meticulously decorated every single room. Even the back yard is adorable. It is warm and inviting. The beds are comfortable and so are the sheets. The kitchen is well stocked. The house was very clean, even with all of the decor. There is a fantastic bakery right across the street and a butcher that you must stop by to get meat and talk to the incredibly nice staff! There is some road noise and the towels……

“We had a multi-generational family vacation at this property. The grandkids loved the pool. We had several questions and the owner was prompt to respond and address an issue or two (nothing major). We enjoyed our time at the house. It was a very quiet neighborhood, yet close to several restaurants, etc. We traveled into DC most days - and with traffic and construction - it was about 35-40 minutes to get to where we wanted to go. We enjoyed our vacation very much!”
