“So eine alte Burg hat halt Vor- und Nachteile... Barrierefrei ist sie jedenfalls nicht. Obwohl es auf dem Berg eine Jugendherberge, ein Restaurant, eine Jugendhaus, Sportplätze, Aussichtspunkte und auch allerhand Bewohner gibt, fährt der allerletzte Bus aus der Stadt herauf schon um 17/18 Uhr. Ohne Auto bist Du in Deutschland verloren!”

“Wir waren als Familie nur für eine Nacht in der Jugendherberge Lindau, möchten aber die Freundlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft sowie Sauberkeit (vor allen Dingen auch WCs und Duschen) und die wirklich schöne Einrichtung erwähnen. Das Zimmer war wie erwartet sehr schlicht, aber sogar mit Waschbecken und Spiegel ausgestattet (hatten wir gar nicht erwartet). Frühstück war sehr gut und ausreichend. Wir hatten es zwar nicht in Anspruch genommen, aber es gibt die Möglichkeit durch Kauf von Essensmarken……

“This hostel is very good. The receptionist was here til midnight and he is very helpful. The room is bigger than we thought and it is comfortable. Warm water for the shared shower is not enough at night when everyone wants to take a shower. May need to wait a little bit longer, but the bathroom is tidy. The kitchen is quite small, but equipped which is very good. Free biscuits and drinks are plus!”

“Booked a room for two and it offered a double bunk bed with a sofa below which was quite cozy. The room was not big but clean and the wifi was good. The shared toilet and bathroom was also in good condition with hair dryer provided in female toilet. Ten minutes walk from train station. Just one remark: no check-in before 4pm and the host was not there too so you could not leave your luggage there in advance.”
