“It is a family run Hostel, with a great location in Akureyri. Very good service and friendly staff. I had a pleasant stay.”

“Freezer Hostel is a combination of hotel rooms and hostel/camping accommodations. It has an artsy vibe and good shared amenities including a kitchen and a very welcoming common area where they host live music and other events on weekends. We cannot speak to the rooms at the property itself because our room was not available upon arrival due to an electricity issue. While this was poorly communicated before our arrival, the host more than made up for this by being super helpful when we arrived……

“雖然共用衛浴共用廚房，但衛浴很多間不用搶，廚房配備也應有盡有，以這個價位及地點來說，cp值真的很高，而且只有6間房間，即時3人入住，也一樣1間房，內有上下舖床位共8床，想睡哪就睡哪。”

“Staff are generally nice and friendly, there is a bar downstairs which serves good food, many locals came for dinner so is quite vibrant if you would like to mingle with people from different counties. However the room does not include duvet which means you either have to rent one (1100 isk) or bring your own sleeping bag. You will have to bring your luggage upstairs too.”

“沒有人管理的地方，永遠不知道什麼時候有什麼人進出。半夜去上廁所，突然發現客廳坐著很多人，在洗澡的時候，外面也有人大力拉門。在女生的臥室，常常因位床位發生爭執 ，因為沒有指定床位，常常有人睡到別人已經使用的床位。旅客素質差，有人吸毒在餐廳客廳晃整晚甚至強制開女生的房門。 非常不安全的地方，女生要小心。”

“Our reservation was not is the system at first but the reception guy was helpful and our booking was confirmed so we got another room at the end. The hostel is a minute drive from the hotel. Had a cozy room and shared facilities with everything you need. Overall it was clean und recommendable.”
