“Hostel B47 was a great place to stay. It was easy walking distance to the Main Street and the kitchen facilities are fantastic! We got woken up each night by other residents who forgot the code and got locked out but this isn’t the hostel’s fault.”

“I normally avoid hostels but I appreciated my stay here. The rooms were clean, the beds were made, loved the fact that luggage stays in the hallway because it limits the noise inside the rooms for those who are sleeping. Lockers are offered to keep your belongings safe. I was nervous about staying the night as when I first walked in, it was very loud with the amount of people by the reception desk. I could barely hear the receptionist talking to me when checking in. I was worried the noise would……

“The hostel is near the airport and then staff are warm and nice to help to you find a way to the airport. I enjoy the public area which included the living and the kitchen. Besides I really enjoy the breakfast which serve at very early in the morning which suitable for those who has really early flight ”

“Self service check it. The theme of Aurora rooms a a bit scary But I booked family room and it looks like a recently renovated place and it is okay. Clean and tidy, the shared kitchen is lacking lights and a bit dark, the common area is really a gem of this guest house, has the mojo of youth hostel. ”

“I have stayed in many hostels and this was one of my favorite by far. It is quiet and comfortable and clean as well as affordable.”

“Staff are generally nice and friendly, there is a bar downstairs which serves good food, many locals came for dinner so is quite vibrant if you would like to mingle with people from different counties. However the room does not include duvet which means you either have to rent one (1100 isk) or bring your own sleeping bag. You will have to bring your luggage upstairs too.”
