“This was a fun venue. Perfect for 2, it might have been a bit too cosy for 4. Although, in warmer months (we visited in Feb) more living could be done outdoors. Somewhere between camping and bedsitting, as you'd expect on a converted bus there isn't much luxury, but everything is good enough, and the novelty sustained us for 2 nights. Lovely and warm at night. Shower/toilet block is near and perfectly fine. Good walks nearby (Esjuraetur Hiking Centre 7km southest on the 459). This was my son's……

“The amount of detail and care put into the creation of this property is incredible. The yurt was cosy and welcoming. The owners were so kind, telling us about their wonderful chickens and letting us try to pet them. Communication was immediate and very understanding and professional. The location was perfect for a golden circle road trip amd if there wasnt a fulloon, the colors of the Aurora would have been mind blowing. Loved everything about the stay (especially the breakfast that was packed……

“Die Hütte ist süß. Ca 10 m vor der Hütte sind warmes und kaltes Wasser - das ist super, nur etwas kompliziert bei Wind;-)) Man sollte wissen: Die Gemeinschaftsküche sowie Bad/Toiletten sind ca 100 m entfernt. Und man sollte lieber vorher woanders Lebensmittel kaufen, da es in der Nähe nur einen sehr teuren „Krambudin“ gibt.”

“This was such a cute and cozy place to stay! The yurt was very warm with heater, wood stove, and heated mattress. We got to see the aurora right from the property (and even from the see through top of the yurt while in bed). Breakfast was brought to us in the morning and was amazing (fresh breads, fresh eggs from their chickens, fresh fruit, etc). ”
