“The property was perfect for a long weekend of sports at a nearby complex. Each family had their own room and bathroom. The common areas were spacious and the grounds just breathtaking. We will be back!”

“Note: "Pet Friendly" only extends to dogs under 20 pounds. The park trails along the Potomac were its best feature. They start just a very short walk from the front door. The house worked out very well for us. It was sparsely furnished and some elements were slightly shabby, but it was fine as we were most interested in getting together. It was excellent value for the many bedrooms. Just don't expect a mansion. ”

“Very nice house on wonderful, spacious property close to DC but feels like in the country. Listing has breakfast and playground as amenities, niether of which are accurate. Kids loved the adjustable basketball hoop. House could use a highchair for families staying with infants as we were. Kitchen well stocked with cookware, bakeware, dishes and utensils.”

“Great neighborhood, close to restuarants, shopping, and the Metro! We did not have a car for the long weekend, but due to the proximity to Clarendon and the Metro Orange Line, we definitelyy didn't feel like we needed one. There is a Trader Joe's, ABC Store, adn CVS within walking distance as well, so it is easy to pick up any necessities during the stay. The property itself is located in a nice neighborhood, and the driveway parking is great if you have a car. The bedrooms were spacious and had……

“We enjoyed a long weekend with 3 generations under one roof. 7 of us stayed comfortably at this beautiful old home built in the 1870', the Aldie Farm House. Our adult daughter braved the pool's cold water the first day, but being end of April, none of us were that brave. Our host was very attentive to any questions we had and there was a very nice caretaker who was available if we needed her. We were pretty busy during our stay but we managed to cook most of our meals at the house and……

“We enjoyed the beauty of nature and farmland around the farmhouse, also the unique blend of old and new in the house itself. We were visiting family in the area and this gave us a lovely place to come “home” to.”

“Waterford is far enough away from Washington, but close enough to make a weekend getaway easy. And staying at Scarlet Springs Farm for the weekend was truly the icing on the cake. And Laura and her family made our stay even better. The house is well appointed - fantastic kitchen, comfy beds, beautiful views from back deck. This is a wonderful location to visit so many interesting vineyards, farm stands, nurseries, and some very nice restaurants in Purcellville. We look forward to visiting……

“The overall property is need of repair and cleaning. The fence around the property was missing and damaged. Piles of concrete padding and material from renovations were piled and not covered. Steps to back of property leading to room lacked handrails. The new concrete steps were slick. The room was very well decorated. Parts of the walls were damaged. The two blinds in windows were broken.. The furnace ran constantly due to the other visitors kept raising the thermostat. The price of the stay……

"The Tidal Basin is just across the street from the hotel, and the hotel has its own private bridge across the street to the Tidal Basin, which is in a great location to view the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin and go to the National Mall. The service staff is very friendly, and the hotel is tastefully decorated, clean and warm. The room is large and overlooks the Tidal Basin from the window.We came to see the cherry blossoms this time with my elderly mother. The hotel is very conveniently located for my mother in a wheelchair to visit the Tidal Basin."
