“As long as you avoid their restaurant and horrible attempt at Starbucks, the Shores is a great place to stay. The only problem in the rooms was the way overly intense deodorizer used in the hallways. Beautiful ocean view abd patio.”

“The room’s amenities were too old. The Wi-Fi would go out. My charger cord melted and I had to throw it away. The elevator, room, and main entrance all had a stinky smell (not the paint). Anyway the prices is reasonable!”

“This hotel had a nice view and good for the price, we had a issue with the door our key wouldn’t work had to keep walking to the desk for help getting in our room the entire stay. Needs some renovations definitely but still felt decently clean for a one night stay. Also walls kinda thin our neighbor had the tv blasting very loud all night. Besides this the view made up for it ”

“Dated but it was a good stay overall. It’s basically Russian roulette on if you get an updated room or a really dingy room. The first day / night we were there was rough with the A/C being out but once that was fixed it was fine. Room stayed cool & the tile floors stayed dry. Staff was nice & we loved that all rooms looked at the ocean. The room our parents had was nicer on the 5th floor than ours on the 3rd floor. “This does not have management on site but they messaged me clear concise directions. They are easily reached but I did not need anything. It was very clean and surrounded by stores and a quick walk to the beach. I would def stay here again. ”

“The hotel is still under repair on the outside due to the hurricane ,so no pool or beach access , however there is beach access and washrooms in the adjacent parking lot . The staff are incredibly hospitable. They went above my expectations . I understand the not having a pool area , however they were working on it , and feel it will be completed soon. Rooms are a little dated , but spacious and clean . I definately would go back ”

“The Beachside was perfect for what I needed, a quick, one-night stop. The room was comfortable and clean, and I got a good night’s rest. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. However, like every property around it, The Beachside suffered significant storm damage. The deck and pool were damaged and off limits. The sliding glass door to the balcony would not lock. Once repairs are finished, I’d up this rating significantly. ”

“The staff was very friendly. It was an older hotel but had everything we needed. Two lounge chairs for tv watching, a kitchen small but efficient for our needs. Only negative was a stained shower curtain in the bathrooom shower. There was a table and chairs where we could have our meals. However we ate out to celebrate my husbands 94th birthday. There were many stores and restaurants within driving area. We walked down the beach but it was cold and windy this time of year so unable to go in the……
