“I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel St. Helena. A beautifully restored 1881 historic boutique hotel captures so much of Napa Valley’s classic charm and history. The proprietors couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful.
My room was cozy and comfortable, The hotel has just reopened after a closure for restoration; preserving its original glory while bringing it into the 21st century .
This location is right on Main Street in St. Helena, walking distance to great restaurants, boutique shops,……

“The Chardonnay Lodge reminds me of the nice motels my Father chose for our family vacations in the 1940's. My room was very clean, the bed very comfortable with 4 bed pillows so I could choose the one that was similar to mine at home...I also liked the soft sheets and blanket. In the room there was a refrigerator and microwave and every day there were 2 bottles of water. The ice machine outdoors was very convenient. The lovely flower garden with statues and other unique items is definitely a……
“Its a don't check-in in person. You receive a text when the unique experience. We stayed in the caboose. It big enough, quiet, and nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens. Everything was very clean. Also, the location is great!
Note: you do not check-in in person. You receive a text when your railcar is ready, with a code to open the door and a phone # if you need assistance. As we had no problems, we found this to be very easy.

“What a great place to stay. Sadly we were in town for a funeral and just needed a quiet, relaxed, comfortable place for a few nights. While the buildings and rooms are a bit dated, Roman Spa staff were friendly and helpful, could walk to everything in town from the hotel, had amazing foot massages at the spa, pools were clean and heated, room was clean as can be with a kitchen that had everything needed to cook or to store leftovers from restaurants. The grounds were lovely and well maintained.……
