“The Hotel does need renovation to compete with newly build hotel chain. The room size is descend, but the furniture is old and has many scratch. If can do some renovation, I am sure can bring back many more customers.”

“The staff were friendly and helpful, offering advice on places to eat and local transport & taxis. Our room was spotless & had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. It was lovely and quiet at night & breakfast in the coffee bar was fresh and delicious. It’s a great base for visiting local attractions.”

“A charming stay in a beautifully restored old coaching house. This family-run hotel is warm, cozy, and full of character. The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you arrive, with friendly owners who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The food is excellent, homemade, hearty, and full of flavour. ”

“Nice mid-range hotel with excellent spa (best treatments we’ve had, at very fair price, though no pool). Excellent dinner in restaurant & good breakfast. Our room was on 3rd floor and, being an old building, there’s no lift. Room was ok, though a ‘standard’ double, not a queen / king. There’s no air-con, but a good floor standing fan. Good sized bathroom with large shower. We will certainly return here as the spa & food are so good. ”

“Regular visitor. Always clean, friendly staff, lovely rooms and great food. Only minor criticism would be that there is typically only one staff member on breakfast/check-out which can mean a few minutes waiting, but other than that, an excellent place to stay !”
