“We had a fabulous time! ”

“It was a little hard to find, as entry is easy to miss and I wasn't sure which of the cabins it was. But once I got there it was worth the effort: a very nice shepherd's hut, with good facilities and the view was wonderful even in early spring, the only nearby neighbours are the pheasants and deer.Bad: Drive down (or especially back up) is very steep on gravel track so took some practice to get up. A couple of maintenance issues/improvements/need for deep clean. Good: Location, accommodation,……

“All in all me and my partner loved our short stay away in a beautiful shepherds hut. It was out of the way and so peaceful, i’d definitely stay here again. The only thing that let it down was the door latches and there was a gap in the bathroom door. ”

“We stayed in Cube 1 for 2 nights for a little getaway. Despite the weather we had the most amazing time. The pictures don’t do it justice, the projector is amazing, hot tub is perfect and the grounds and privacy are great. Highly highly recommend. Damien couldn’t have been a more helpful host!”

“one of two shepherds hut situated at the top of field/garden with a two person hot tub which was lovely in the evening watching the stars above on the clear night, the hut itself is lovely and cosy with a small woodburner (lighter, kindle and logs supplied) and everything you needed was supplied. There are sheep fenced off in the middle of the field with surrounding apple trees and a stream at the bottom and chickens to the side. Had a great stay with our two small dogs -thank you ”

Comfortable hotel

"Stayed here for 3 nights on this trip. A very comfortable stay with exceptional service. The air conditioner in the room stopped functioning, but the staff quickly took care of the matter as soon as we reported it and compensated us with many free drink vouchers; the manager got soaked in the process of fixing the air conditioning but continued to apologise to us for the inconvenience. The staff are very welcoming, and the environment is very relaxing. Will highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Exeter. Special thanks to the hotel manager and one of the hotel staff members for swiftly taking care of the air conditioner issue; despite ending up being wet in the process you both have handled the issue with grace and kindness."
