“Nice hotel. Staff couldn’t do enough for me! Good beer, good food, nice room, my only little issue, mattress could do with replacing in my room, felt a couple of springs, I just moved to other side of the bed, no issue, will be back! ”
“Nice adequate room which was neat and clean. Easy Checkin and checkout. The parking was not available when we checked in. We had to park across the street in a parking lot.”
“Our room was lovely and it had a nice window overlooking the street. We saw staff/host coming in every now and then and they were fantastic and nice.
I had by accident broken a glass of wine and told the host that I'd pay for it however he said that all is good!

“This was our second stay at Barns and it not disappoint. The rooms are spotlessly clean, nice touch with the mini fridge with fresh milk and water. The street is very quiet, as are the rooms. Only 3 rooms but we didn’t hear or see anyone so we had the beautiful back terrace to ourselves, a little sun spot! Lovely large kitchen/dining area for your use but we ate out both nights. Would highly recommend.”
“Beautiful house with character, host Sinclair was really good on arrival, comfortable room with really comfy chair for sitting whilst doing paperwork later and had an excellent sleep.
Breakfast selection was better than any hotel with homemade jams, cooked selections superb.”
“Stunning hotel. Weather was glorious and a lovely outside area to sit with a refreshment. Rooms are out of this world and all beautifully designed. Only thing missing is bottled water. Dinner and breakfast very tasty. Only complaint steak was very fatty and grizzly. Not great as it was £32.00.
Bar has a great selection of drinks. Small and quaint bar area. Can get busy and you can loose your place in the queue. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. ”
“Easy check In and received text inquiring about time I would be arriving.very small room but bright and had everything required I slept well ..My only complaint was the tiny travel electric kettle had such a short lead on it It had to be unplugged every time to pour the water and it was right beside the curtains and it was a stretch to even plug it in…a kettle that you lift out would be a much more safe option ”

“Great location for the Ayr Festival that we were attending. The room was perfect for an overnight stay. We basically used the room to sleep in, so we never used any of the facilities or the restaurant.
It would have been good to have a fan or air conditioning as it was very hot during the night ”
