“The staff are friendly and proactive in offering assistance (Special thanks to Roxana for her kind assistance)The hotel is conveniently located, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and is approximately a ten-minute walk from both the train station and the bus stop. The room is well-lit and tidy, although the drainage in the washbasin is somewhat clogged, resulting in very slow water flow.
This is my third stay at the hotel, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit……
“Very comfortable room, friendly staff with very good service and good variety of meals with a specials board and carvery. Meals were reasonable and dinner times were busy and you need to reserve a table. Highly recommend it.”
“Great location and friendly staff. However the room is considerably small given the price of the room, for 2 person without luggages, we had to keep moving the furniture in order to move around. The heating in the room took a long time to heat up and the bathtub in the room did not work. ”
“Great location. Everywhere is very walkable. Wide range of shops and restaurants. The Gatehouse is unique and charming. The hotel staff are very nice and accommodating. Great value for money.
Beds comfortable. Room very clean. Overall a great experience and the city of Wells is a must-see”
“The location is excellent, very close to the main streets. The hot springs are very comfortable, lovely staff. I will definitely come again next time.”
“Excellent stay, friendly staff, good food. Lovely place, well deserving of other good reviews.
Had a two night stay whilst visiting Longleat (less than 15 minute drive).”
“Absolutely beautiful home and farm land. Emailed us for our estimated time of arrival and met us for our late check in after travels. Drove us with to the local pub for dinner and introduced us to family and locals. The friendliest of cats greeted us as we came and left, and breakfast was above and beyond! If we get the opportunity to return to the UK, we'd go out of our way to stay in Manor Farm B&B Grittleton again!”
“Crossways is a gem of a hotel with wonderful views of Glastonbury Tor and the surrounding countryside. The beds are comfortable and Internet access is very good. Everywhere is very clean and the staff are generally very good. There was just one morning when the staff lost track of who still needed to order their breakfasts. Talking of tracks the road to the hotel from Pilton is single track but it is worth the care needed to get there.”
“Delightful pub with excellent accommodation. Cosy or elegant indoor dining areas and extensive outside seating area. Imaginative and tasty menu. Rooms very nicely appointed with lovely additional touches (fresh milk in a flask; home baked cookies; tea and coffee with cafetiere). Hindon is a picturesque village with charming cottages and discernable outlines of the many coaching inns once there (of which the Grosvenor Arms is one). Plenty to do in the surrounding countryside. Very highly……

"My family resided in a room with air-conditioning in out of service, hotel staff arranged with electric fans to cool down the room. It seems like common situation in UK hotel during summer."
