“We have been going to Aruba since 2009. We usually stay somewhere else to be near friends, because we were the only ones going this year we tried something new. This was like a private oasis. The accommodations were nice. The bed was very comfortable. The cleaning girl polite and helpful. There were other guests but primarily we had the pool and lounging area to our selves most afternoons . We truly found this comparable to our usual lowrise hotel but for half the price.”

“Staying at the Boardwalk was Wonderful. The grounds are Lush ,private & Beautiful all Around. The entire property was immaculately kept. The staff was Exceptional from the front desk , the bar, restaurant and housekeeping. You feel very comfortable and well taken care of. The cost of all they offer was very fare. It has all the amenities of a commercial hotel But you get so much more attention as a guest in a gorgeous private setting that Does Not disappoint! It makes your vacation very……

“My wife and I have always stayed at a timeshare exchange unit when visiting Aruba. This time, however, we decided to arrive a day early. For the first time we would need to find an alternate accommodation for one night only. So I looked at some of the less expensive options on Hotels.com and based on price and excellent reviews we chose A1 Apartments. We were not disappointed. “Benefits: - close to grocery store - close to beach - nice pool - air conditioning - lots of extra supplies in room (cooler and chairs for beach, pans and dishes) Setbacks: - no ventilation in bathroom. The bathroom started to stink up the apartment after a couple of days - dirty sheets upon arrival - no follow-through from owner for supplies for BBQ ”

“Loved the stylish and boutique feel of the accommodation and the convenience of the kitchen. The owner did an amazing job designing the public area (pool, hot tub and BBQ area) The area was secure with an access code. Also loved the resident cat, very sweet and friendly. The only downside was car parking, I had to park halfway on the sidewalk and road. Luckily it was on a non busy road. ”

“10/10. What a little gem. Peaceful, quiet and accommodating. We had a short stay but just great. Tips - white appartment would be good for longer stays or if you want to eat in as it has full kitchen and kitchen plates, utensils etc. Having a car is ideal if you want to go around the island but not a deal breaker as walking to beach and restaurant options just over 10 mins. “I loved this hotel. It was quiet, room and washroom was beautiful with led mirror and smart tv. Staff were great, we had breakfast there once (it’s NOT included) but the prices were good for the amount of food you got. Renting a car is the best way to get around, the hotel is about 10-15 minutes from all the main tourist spots/beaches. I have no complaints, would come back here if I ever return to Aruba! 10/10 ”
