“Loved this property. We traveled from Iowa to see our daughter at KU and have a weekend together. Area was easy to travel. We had fun at a local farmers market and NOTO. Even got to see the Tulips and Twlight event. House was clean and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. “The host Deb was very responsive and helpful with check-in. The house was clean when we arrived. There were also fresh baked cookies for us. We were in town for a wedding and needed an early check in for changing prior to our event, the host was very accommodating. ***One thing for the host to check out is a possible clogged plumbing vent as there is noise in the kitchen sink after flushing the downstairs toilet.”

“My adult son and I stayed here for the Unbound bike race in Emporia. This place is by far the best place we've stayed at for this race. The bedrooms were very spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. I loved the office next to the kitchen, and we enjoyed a bonfire in the backyard after the race. The garage was very nice as well. We would be happy to stay here again in the future.”

“We had a lovely time. Our extended family was in town and the layout was great for a large number of guests. Each room had enough space for privacy, but was close enough for everyone to know what’s going on. The house could use some freshening up. It was clean, but some things didn’t work, like the coffee pot, oven, some burners, the fireplaces. But the house is well equipped so we made due. Plenty of sheets and towels were provided. We would book it again!”

“Overall, it was good to have a roof over our heads for the night. No complaints there. The original location in Eskridge ended up being booked for the evening, resulting in a late check in time. I received communication a day before our stay providing another location to stay at. The lakehouse was decent, providing all accommodations necessary. One hide-a-bed, a full size and a twin bed, the latter being quite uncomfortable. A slightly dirty toilet is my only complaint about the cleanliness. ”
