“Excellent Inn. I stayed on my way over to Calais. I had the Single room. Very need and tidy. Recently updated room I’d say. Excellent bed and neat bathroom. I really liked the old charm of the building, nice little doors to the rooms. Very nice bar downstairs with lots of nice places to sit inside and outside. Pleasant atmosphere all round. The breakfast is fantastic and likewise the staff are wonderful.”

“Just right for my needs. Good location for access to town plus free parking. Unfortunately I did have noisy people in adjoining rooms who played loud music and the room the other side had tv on loud but that’s the lack of concern for others that’s all too common now and not the fault of the guest house. Breakfast was good and staff polite and helpful.”

“Everything about our stay could not be faulted. Friendly reception on arrival. Told all we needed to know straight away and made to feel very welcome. Separate restaurants as we had our dogs with us and we were the only ones in ours but still were treated very attentively. Good varied menu with several specials on offer. Prices are reasonable and on par with others offering a similar service. Breakfast was a limited offering but still very good.
