“A lovely village pub. I didn’t have a dinner, however, the breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was really nice, with freshly made coffee, which was good. “Cameron (owner) was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the local area, he also prepared a great breakfast. Our room was on the top floor, a comfortable and decent size room and large bathroom, it also had sea views across the harbour Our visit was for a birthday celebration, we were given a card and a bottle of Prosecco in our room which was a nice touch and much appreciated. “There were several family members who stayed her for a family reunion and it was perfect. Caitlin was a lovely lady who looked after us she was extremely kind and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The rest of the staff were just as nice and friendly. The meals were great and huge, it was a shame that we couldn't have stayed longer to try one of there roast dinners. The rooms were spotless and very well kept. If we needed extras for our rooms we only needed to ask. We would definitely stay……

"We arrived in the hotel early and left our luggages to the hotel staff. When we got back our luggage in the evening, one of the suitcases was apparently damaged. The staff tried to fixed it twice but failed. I was promised to be given at least a letter confirming the damage so that I could send it our insurer, and that the hotel would give us membership points as a compensation. The manager also said he would check the cctv and come back to us. However, nothing happened until we chased for an update a few days after our check-out. And they said they would check the cctv almost after a week has passed. Then our case was transferred to another manager, who then rejected all the promises given to us earlier. We just asked for a letter. The fact is that I handed over a suitcase in working condition to the hotel staff, and was returned with a damaged suitcase. The series of failed promises show how the hotel management treat their clients. I don't think I would stay with them anymore."
