“I was only here for 1 night but it was a lovely experience. The staff is very nice and answered all my curious questions, the VIEW is one of the best you’ll find in the Catskills. “This place is, in the best possible way, a blast from the past! A nice, quaint roadside motel with a mountain vibe! Great views of the Catskills from the small hill where there’s a fire pit and Adirondack chairs for relaxation and lounging. Re-read Rip Van Winkle after a fantastic dinner at Deer Mountain Inn as it got dark looking upon the mountains where the story took place. Picturesque and perfect! Had the entire motel to myself and it was so nice, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful……

“Very terrible experience. Booked this hotel as I had an important interview downtown in Albany. When I arrived there at 9pm, it’s overbooked and we were relocated to a motel 20 mins away. The motel was terrible and the hair dryer was even broken. The staff was rude when we tried to understand the situation. The staff on duty promised to cover the extra transportation costs from the motel to the bus terminal for the next day and arranged a taxi for us. But we were kicked out of the taxi as the……
